Bring the family and celebrate Juneteenth with us! The Museum will open at 10:00 AM, and the Celebration begins at noon. Enjoy a live art session with artist Lauren Luna , tours, Living History performances, a live DJ, food truck and a cash bar. $5 per person to enter.

About the Artist
Lauren Luna is an art professor at Lone Star and San Jacinto Colleges, and is Co-President of the D.R.E.A.M Affect Foundation. She is a frequent participant to local art festivals, has a mural at the George R. Brown Convention Center, and was recently subject of a proclamation by the Mayor of the City of Houston that July 11 was Lauren Luna Day!
